Establishing Mindfulness: Personal Practice
Establishing Mindfulness is foundational training in mindfulness. Providing participants with the practices and experience of mindfulness, this course helps establish skills that support stress management, resiliency, and a more positive mindset.
This course fulfills the prerequisite for Engaging Mindfulness: Facilitator Training, which provides group facilitator strategies and curriculum for working with people in recovery.
Course 2
Engaging Mindfulness: Facilitator Training
Engaging Mindfulness is facilitator training course. Providing participants with the skills and a 10 lesson curriculum, this course helps Mindful Recovery Facilitators (MRF) successfully lead Mindful Recovery Groups.
Participants who successfully complete this course become certified Mindful Recovery Facilitators (MRF) and can immediately begin leading Mindful Recovery Groups.

Training Overview
Course 1- Establishing Mindfulness
- 4 Week virtual online training
- 2-3 hours per week (self-paced) of videos and guiding questions for reflection and deepening practice. A new module is released each week of the training.
- 2 Live online sessions (weeks 2 and 4) for participants to ask questions and participate in a guided mindfulness practice
- Expert guiding teacher provides ongoing feedback
Course 2- Engaging Mindfulness
- 4 Weeks virtual online training
- 2-3 Hours per week (self-paced) of videos and guiding questions for reflection and deepening practice. A new module is released each week of the training.
- Mindful Recovery Facilitator Handbook includes Mindful Recovery Group curriculum with 10 lessons
- Live cohort sessions (weeks 2-4) for participants to practice facilitating using the curriculum with feedback from guiding teacher
- Expert guiding teacher provides ongoing feedback
